Location - stunning!

View of the local area with Trevorrick Farm in the foreground Our location, situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is absolutely stunning. Situated a mile from the village of St Issey in a beautiful peaceful location, Trevorrick is the perfect place for you to unwind and get away from it all. The lane past Trevorrick leads only to the Little Petherick creek, with fabulous views over the Camel estuary to Rock. A public footpath runs along the creek (and joins the Saints Way footpath at Little Petherick) and we have a private path from the creek back to our farm.

Footpath to the Camel Trail from Trevorrick

One of the delights of our location is the beautiful 2.5 mile walk into Padstow, which we highly recommend  - the footpath starts right outside the door and leads on to the Camel Trail. - Suitable for all ages - our children have been walking into Padstow and back since they were 3. For younger children back carriers are available to borrow. Hiring a bicycle from Padstow or Wadebridge and cycling along the Camel Trail to Bodmin or beyond is another way to appreciate the fabulous enviroment of the Camel estuary.

The area abounds with wildlife. Along the creek and estuary you will find curlews, herons, egrets, buzzards, kestrels and many varieties of gull. Around the farm you will see swallows, house martins and at dusk bats and our resident owls. After dark, the sky comes alive with a wealth of stars not seen in the towns and cities. If you come in the spring you will see wild primroses, bluebells, bright yellow gorse, then later in the year foxgloves, orchids, valarium and many species of butterflies. During your evening stroll you may see one of our resident badgers, we have an active set nearby.

We are within a ten minute drive of fabulous sandy beaches. To the west of Padstow are a whole series of sandy coves, suitable for surfing, sand castle making, rock pooling or relaxing - everyone has their own favourite!

On a fine day you may like to visit one of the local sandy beaches, then after a relaxing swin in our heated, you may enjoy a drink or cream tea in the gardens while you decide where to eat. You could have a barbeque here while the children play safely in the gardens - trundle toys, a swing and climbing frame for the younger ones, table tennis or a game of snooker on the full sized table for the older children, dad included! You may fancy a stroll along the lane to the Pickwick Inn or the Ring O'Bells, both have restaurants and both are less than one mile away. Alternatively, you may wish to treat yourselves at the famous Seafood Restaurant in Padstow which is owned by Rick Stein of BBC TV fame, but booking in advance is essential.
