An attractive very spacious single storey cottage
converted from the old milking parlour. There are many
badgers is the local area, from which the cottage takes
it's name.
The entrance is through a fully fitted kitchen, which
overlooks the gardens, and through an arch into a
living room with barn oak laminate floor and a Cornish
slate wood burning open fireplace. The large pine
farmhouse table seats 8. Children enjoy sitting in the
window seat. The attractive pine dresser contains
plenty of board games and there are comfortable 2 and 3
seater sofas. Double glazed French doors open onto a
southerly aspect fenced garden, with views over rolling
fields and the Little Petherick creek valley. The patio
is lit at night by two outside lights. Patio furniture
(table and chairs) is provided for guests use.
The large master bedroom has a double bed. It can
accommodate an extra single bed. The room also has a
vanity unit. It is furnished with white shaker-style
furniture. The second bedroom has twin beds and is
furnished in pine. The spacious bathroom/wc has a
quality Mira thermostatic mixer shower over the bath,
and heated towel rail.
